CS FTP-DB from CS Software Concepts & Solutions GmbH
CS-FTP-DB provides a direct FTP link to Enscribe and NonStop SQL databases. Data created on Windows NT or UNIX systems can be sent directly to HP NonStop based databases - no temporary files or additional processing steps are required. Results of queries can also be obtained directly from FTP. Data format on the target end of the FTP stream can be configured in several ways, e.g. as CSV (Comma Separated Values) which are compatible with many off-the-shelf PC tools. All conversions are performed automatically by CS-FTP-DB.
Before or after sending or receiving a database snapshot, configurable actions can be carried out automatically (pre- and post processing) eliminating the need for polling procedures. For high performance data load operations, CS-FTP-DB supports the SQLCI LOAD command.
CS-FTP-DB can be bundled from Gravic, Inc. with Shadowbase to provide high-speed initial bulk load operations between NonStop systems or between NonStop based databases and databases residing on NT or UNIX systems.
